Notice is hereby given that the Maplewood City
Council,in accordance with Minnesota State Statutes
Annotated Chapter 462.358, has declared a public
hearing for June 16,1977,at 1:45 p.m.In the Council
Chambers of the Maplewood Municipal Building located
at 1380 Frost Avenue,Maplewood,Minnesota 55109.The
purpose of said hearing Is to consider all public remarks
regarding a proposed land subdivision plat proposed

FOR A CODE VARIANCE
Notice is hereby given that the Maplewood Board of
Adjustments and Appeals will conduct a public hearing
on Thursday,June 16,1917,at 7:30 p.m.in the Council
Chambers of the Maplewood Municipal Building,
located at 1380 Frost Avenue,Maplewood,Minnesota.
The purpose of said hearing is to receive all public
remarks regarding a petition requesting a variance
from the Maplewood Code.

The City Council of Maplewood, Minnesota,will
sealed bids for the construction of ap-
proximately
18,000 Cubic Yards Common Excavation
3,500 Feet of 12"to 36"R.C.Pipe Sewer
2,800 Feet of 16"Ductile Iron Pipe Water Main
2,700 Feel or 8"Clay Pipe Sewer
5,200 Feet of 8618 Concrete Curb and Gutter
2,600 Tons of Plant-Mixed Bituminous Pavement
within the City limits on the basis of cash payment for
the work.Bids will be received until 9:00 a.m.,C.O.S.T.,
on the 21st day of June,1971,at the Municipal Building,
1380 Frost Avenue,Maplewood,Minnesota.at which
time and place all bids will be publicly opened,reed
aloud and considered.
Proposals must be placed in a sealed envelope with
the statement thereon indicating proposal for bid
contained within and addressed to the City of
Maplewood.Proposals shall be submitted to the City
Clerk on or before the above stated time.Proposal is for
Me furnishing of all labor,equipment and materials and
performing all work in connection with the above stated
construction.
Proposal form,including specifications,are on file in
the office of the City Engineer located at 1380 Frost

deposit for one set of documents will be refunded to each
actual bidder who returns the plans and documents in
good condition within ten days alter the opening of bids.

in an ount equal to five pertnt(5)of the total bid,
conditioned that if the bidder is the successful bidder he

will be received until 9:00 a.m.,C.D.S.T.,on the 7th day
of June, 1977, at the Municipal Building, 1380 Frost
Avenue, Maplewood, Minnesota, at which time and
place all bids will be publicly opened,read aloud and
considered.
