The City Council of Maplewool,Minnesota,will
receive sealed bids for the construction Of ap.
proximately
18,000 Cubic Yards Common Excavation
3,500 Feet of 12"to36"R.C.Pipe Sewer
3,800 Feet 0116"Ductile Iron Pipe Water Main
2,100 Feet of 8"Clay Pipe Sewer
5,200 Feet of 8618 Concrete Curb and Gutter
2,600 Tons of Plant.Mixed Bituminous Pavement
within the City limits on the basis of cash payment for
the work.Bids will be received until 9:00 a.m.,C.D.S.T.,
on the 21st day of June,1971,at the Municipal Building,
1380 Frost Avenue,Maplewood,Minnesota,at which
time and place all bids will be publicly Opened,read
aloud and considered.
Proposals must be placed in a sealed envelope with
the statement thereon indicating proposal for bid
contained within and addressed fo the City of
Maplewood.Proposals shall be submitted to the City
Clerk onor before the above stated time.Proposal is for
Me furnishingof all labor,equipment and materials and
performing all work in connection with the above stated
construction.
Proposal form,including specifications,are on tile in
the office of the City Engineer located at 1380 Frost
Avenue,Maplewood,Minnesota.
Copies of the documents may be obtained Oy
depositing 525.00 with the Engineer.The amount of
deposit for onesei of documents wince refunded to each
actual bidder who returns the plans and documents in
good condition within ten days after the opening of bids.
All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or
bid bend,payable to the City of Maplewood,Minnesota,
in an amount equal to five percent(5)of the total bid,
conditioned that if the bidder is the successful bidder he
will enter into a cOMract in accordance with said bid
and will furnish such performance bonds as are
specified.No bidder may withdraw his bid for at least
thirty 1301 days after the scheduled closing time for the
receipt of bids,without the consent of the owner.
The City Council reserves the right to refect any and
all bids and to waive irregularities and Informalities
therein and further reserves the right to award the
contract in the best interest of the City.

The City Council of Maplewood,Minnesota,will

proximately 2670 L.F.of storm sewer within the City
limits on the basis of cash payment for the work.Bids
will be received until 9:00 a.m.,C.D.S.T.,on the 7th day
of June,1977,at the Municipal Building,1380 Frost
Avenue,Maplewood,Minnesota,at which time and
place all bids will be publicly opened,read aloud and
considered.
