The City Council of Meplew00d,Minnesota,will
receive sealed bids ter the Construction of op-
proximately
25,000 Cubic Yards Common Excavation
3,500 Feet of 12"to 36"R.C.Pipe Sewer
2400 Feet of le"Ductile Iron Pipe Water Main
3,200 Feet of 8"Clay Pipe Sewer
5.200 Feet of 6615 Concrete Curb and Gutter
2400 Tons of Plant-Mixed Bituminous Pavement
within the City limits on the basis M cash payment for
the work.Bids will be received until 9:00 e.m.,C.D.S.T.,
on the 11th day of May,1977,at the Municipal Building,
138D Frost Avenue,Maplewood.Minnesota,at which
time and place all bids will be publicly opened,read
aloud and considered.
Proposals must be placed in a Sealed envelope with
the statement thereon indicating proposal for bid
Mrained within and addressed to the City of
aplewood.Proposal is tor the furnishing of all labor,
equipment and materials and performing all work In
connection with the above stated construction.
Proposal form,including specifications.are on file in
the office of the City Engineer located at 1360 Frost
Avenue,Maplewood,Minnesota.
Copies of the documents may be obtained by
depositing$05.00 with the Engineer.The amount of
deposit for one set of documents will be refunded to each
actual bidder who returns the plans and documents in
Hood condition within ten days atter the opening of bids.
All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or
Ad bond,payable to Me City of Maplewood,Minnesota,
condiamount equal to flue percent(Si of the total bid,
toned that if the bidder is the successful bidder he
will enter Into a contract in accordance with said bid
and will furnish such performance bonds as are
specified.No bidder may withdraw his bid for at least
thirty 1301 days after the xneduled closing time for tee
receipt of bids,without the consent of the owner.
The City Council reserves the right to relect any and
all bids and to waive irregularities and informalities
therein and further reserves the right to award the
contract in the best interest or the City.
