NOTICE OF HEARING .
OF IMPROVEMENT
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of
Maplewood, Ramsey County, Minnesota,deems It
necessary and expedient that the improvement
hereinafter described,be made,
NOW,THEREFORE,notice is hereby given that the
City Council will hold a public hearing on said Im-
provement at the following time and place within the
said City.
Date and Time:Thursday,March 24,1911 at 7:30 p.m.
Location:Council Chambers of the City Hall,1390
Frost Avenue.
The general nature of the improvement Is the con.
struction of watermains,sewer mains and necessary
appurtenances on County Road"D"between White
Bear Avenue and Ariel Street.
The total estimated cost of said Improvement Is
543,335.00.
It Is proposed to assess every lot,piece or parcel of
land benefited by said improvement whether abutting
thereon or not,based upon benefits received without
regard to cash valuation.
Persons desiring to be heard with reference to the
proposed improvement should be present at this
hearing.
This Council proposes to proceed under Me authority
granted by Chapter 4$M.S.A.

FOR A CODE VARIANCE
Notice is hereby given that the Maplewood Board of
AdjuStments and Appeals will conduct a public hearing
on Thursday.March 24,1911 at 1:45 p.m.in the Council
Chambers of the Maplewood Municipal Building,
located at 1380 Frost Avenue,Maplewood,Minnesota.
The purpose of said hearing is to receive all public
remarks regarding a petition requesting a variance
from the Maplewood Code.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
FOR AN
AMENDMENT TO THE ZONING CODE
Notice is hereby given that the Maplewood City
Council at their meeting of March 24,1911,at 8:00 p.m.
in the Council Chambers of the Maplewood Municipal
Building,located at 1380 Frost Avenue,Maplewood,
Minnesota,will publicly consider and receive all public
remarks regarding a proposed addition to the zoning
code.
MINERAL EXTRACTION ORDINANCE
An ordinance licensing and regulating the removal of
sand,gravel,rock,soil and other natural deposits,
requiring a permit for said activity,and providing for
fees and guarantees and prescribing Penalties for
violation of same.
Additional information on this proposed amendment
is onfile in the Office of Community Development,1380
Frost Avenue,Maplewood,Minnesota.

bids for the MOUNTING OF A SEWER JETTING
MACHINE complete and ready for operation.Bids will
be received until 9:30 a.m.,C.S.T.on Tuesday,March
22,1911,at the City Hall,1380 Frost Avenue,Maplewood,
Minnesota at which time and place bids shall be opened,
read aloud,and considered.
Proposal forms,including specifications,are on file
and may be obtained at the office of the Maplewood
Public Works Department.Proposals must be made on
the forms as furnished,and shall be submitted t0 the
City Clerk on or before the time stated above.Proposals
must be placed in a sealed envelope with an indication

Located In The
City of Maplewood,MN
The City Council of Maplewood will receive sealed
Bids for the installation of a chain link fence,woodchip
trail and a bituminous roadway with curb and gutter at
Michael Lane Nature Center, located in the City of
Maplewood.
Bids will be received until 2:00 P.M. (C,S.T.) on
Tuesday,March 22, 1977 at the Maplewood City Hall,
1380 Frost Avenue,at which time they will be opened,
read aloud and considered.
Proposal forms, including specifications and
drawings, are on file and may be obtained at the
Maplewood office of Community Services between the
hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through
Friday.Proposals should be placed in a sealed envelope
with clear indication stating "Bid For Michael Lane
Nature Center Enclosed".
All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or
bid bond payable to the City of Maplewood Minnesota in
an amont equal to ten percent (10) of the total bid
conditioned that if the bidder is a successful bidder,he
will enter into a contract in accordance with said bid
and will furnish such performance bonds as are
specified.No bidder may withdraw his bid for at least
thirty clays after the scheduled closing time for the
receipt of bids without the consent of the owner.

any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bid,
and to make such award as it may deem to be in the best

RESOLUTION NO.77-2-36
WHEREAS. the City Engineer for the City of
Maplewood has been authorized and directed to prepare
preliminary plans for the improvement of McKnight
Road from Radatz Avenue to Beam Avenue by con.
struction of curb and gutter and concrete sidewalks,and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared the
aforesaid preliminary plans for the improvement
herein described:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF MAPLEWOOD,MINNESOTA, as
follows:
1. The report of the City Engineer advising this
Council that the proposed improvement on McKnight
Road from Radatz Avenue to Beam Avenue by con-
struction of curb and gutter and concrete sidewalks is
feasible and should best be made as proposed,is hereby
received.
2. The Council will consider the aforesaid im-
provement in accordance with the reports and the
assessment of benefited property for all or a portion of
the cost of the improvement according to M.S.A.
Chapter 429, at an estimated total cost of the im-
provement of 56,430.00.
3. A public hearing will be held in the Council
Chambers of the City Hall at 1380 Frost Avenue on
Thursday,the 17th day of February,1977,at 8:00 p.m.to
consider said improvement.The notice for said public
hearing shall be in substantially the following form:
