ID11::11ACII'ir, I jdelage@pioneerpress.com June 2, 2016 1 UPDATED: 4 days ago A man and woman found dead Wednesday in a Maplewood motel were from Wisconsin, according to police. The woman was identified Thursday as Zoua Vang, 27, of Osseo, Wis., and the man was Tou Chang Xiong, 24, of La Crosse, Wis., according to Maplewood Police Chief Paul Schnell. The Ramsey County medical examiner's office has performed autopsies and is waiting for toxicology results before determining a cause of death. A Northernaire Motel employee found Vang and Xiong unresponsive, lying clothed in a bed, about 2 p.m. Wednesday. The two, who were described as friends, reportedly checked into the motel at 2441 W. Maplewood Drive the previous evening. Both were pronounced dead at the motel near U.S. 61 and Minnesota 36, and investigators found no immediate sign of trauma to eithervictim, Schnell said. "There is not believed to be any danger to the public," Schnell said in a statement Thursday. Police continue to investigate what led up to the pair's death.
