noted at Kohlman
Don Watson, director of the Lakes
Improvement Association, presented the
pollution problem of Lake Kohlman at the
Maplewood City Council meeting.
"During the present winter, the oxygen
level was checked four times," he
reported. In early March, five parts of the
lake were checked, and the oxygen level
was found to be between 0.6 and 1.6 parts
per million. Under 2 parts per million is
dangerous.
"I can't see where any of these ponding
areas at this time are sufficient to take
care of run-off into Kohlman lake," said
Watson. r /02, /Q?f-
