Amendment of state law concerning
gambling and authorization of gambling
devices states that a city or county can ,
establish a system for the licensing of 4
organizations to operate certain gambling '
devices and to conduct raffles. This will A
go into effect Aug. 1.
These devices include"paddlewheels," -
which is a wheel marked off into num-
bered sections and uses a pointer to mark ..
winning chances and"tipboards," which
are boards marked off in a grid con-
taining hidden numbers that determine
winning chances.
