In November and December of 1976,17 accidents occurred at the intersection, according to Chief Thomas Langeslay,North St.Paul Police Department. In November and December of 1977, there were no accidents at the in- tersection. "Apparently, the changes made in engineering and design had a major impact on the reduction of accidents at the location," said Chief Langeslay.
