William Peltier,34,patrolman with the
Maplewood Police Department,has been
promoted to Sergeant-Investigator, ef-
fective Jan. 5, according to Tom L.
Hagen,deputy police chief.
A member of the department since 1970,
he achieved No.1 status after taking a
series of tests conducted by the Civil
Service Commission.
He and his wife,Mary,are parents of
two daughters,Michelle,21,and Renee,
two months.They live at 1549 Winchell
St.,St.Paul.His hobbies include com-
petitive shooting,raising house plants and
