In response to a question asked by have not been turned off for days on end,
Maplewood Councilman Norm Anderson City Engineer Bill Cass later said it was
about why Conway Avenue's street lights likely a malfunction of the photoelectric
cell in the light.
He said the cell could be dirty or
damaged by frost. "NSP handles all that,
I'm sure they will take care of it," Cass
related. He added the city pays for its
energy on a flat monthly fee and therefore
would not be charged for the wasted
kilowatts.
