picnic held
The City of Maplewood held its second
annual Employee and Family Picnic
Friday, June 24 at the Maplewood
Heritage Center.Over l00 people turned
out for an evening of fun and merriment"
Included in this year's picnic was a
department softball game,puppet shows. "
games,races,dinosour egg hunt and a
family picnic.
Highlighting the day's activities was
the championship softball games between
the Maplewood Police Department and
the public works department.Under the
direction of Sonny Neutson, the public
works department held its victorious title
for the second year.with a score of 14-12.
The evening was capped with a
,olleyball game for young and old alike.
