The Maplewood City Council certified A precinct by precinct tally of the public Precinct 5: 118 for, 90 against
the public works bond referendum at its works results follows: Precinct 6: 155 for, 110 against

against.
The bond will be issued for bids,with a
variety of other public improvement
bonds Thursday,March 10.The total bond
issue will be $3,730,000.
ALSO ON FEB. 8, Maplewood voters
rejected the city's proposed bond issue for
$870,000 to acquire and develop its parks.
The referendum was overwhelmingly
defeated by a vote of 794 for and 1,655
against. A precinct by precinct tally
