rabies law
4ta4e do/997
The City of Maplewood will no longer
stipulate that dogs receive rabies vac-
cinations every two years,as a result of
March 24 city council action.
The current ordinance requires dogs be
vaccinated for rabies every two years.
However, as Councilman John Greavu
pointed out,a vaccine is available which
lasts three years.
The council moved to amend the or-
dinance to read: the vaccination is
required every two years, unless a
vetenarian has specified it is a three year
shot.
