PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
What is Being Requested?
U-Haul,located at 2242 White Bear
Avenue,is proposing to expand their
business into the former Goodwill
property at,2250 White Bear Avenue.
They would remodel the building
interior into a storage facility.They
would also park trucks and trailers
for rent on the farmer Goodwill.site.
These requests require that the
city council consider the following
applications:
A conditional use permit for indoor
storage in a commercial zoning
district
A variance to lease trucks and
trailers within 350 feet of residentially
zoned properties
Public Hearing Information
The Maplewood Planning
Commission will hold a public
hearing for this proposal on Tuesday,
November t8,2014,at 7:00 p.m.or
later.This meeting will be held at the
Maplewood City Hall,1830 County
Road B East in the City Council
Chambers.All interested parties may
appear at the hearing and present
their views orally or submit written
comments before the meeting.Sign
language interpreters are available.
You must request this service at least
four days in advance.Call the city
clerk at(651)249-2002 to arrange
this service. Assisted Listening
Devices are also available.Check
with the city clerk for availability.
Why This Notice?
City code requires that the planning
commission hold a public hearing
when considering conditional use
permits and variances.The planning
commission will review and make
a recommendation regarding this
proposal.The coy council will make
the final decision.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
What is Being Requested?
Scott and Ann Miller are proposing
to construct a 484 square foot
garage on their residential properly
at 1703 Jessie Street.The garage
will be located within 30 feet of
a Manage B wetland. The City's
wetland ordinance requires a 75-
toot wetland butter be maintained
around a Manage B wetland. In
order to construct the garage,the
Millers must receive a wetland buffer
variance from the City.
