St. Paul Farmers' Market 2016 opens April 30

Farmers' market fans have reason to celebrate at the end of the month.
The St. Paul Farmers' Market will begin its regular season at the Lowertown location April 30 and May 1. The
spring -to -fall hours will be 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sundays.
Early -season visitors can expect bedding plants,
asparagus, radishes, rhubarb and spinach, along with
a varied selection of meats, cheeses, eggs, pasta,
pastries, honey, chocolates and more.
The first week in May will see farmers' markets open
at Church of Carpus Christi in Roseville; St. Thomas
More Church in St. Paul; Mary, Mather of the Church i
Burnsville; and at 13655 Round Lake Boulevard in
Andover. The market at Aldrich Arena in Maplewood
begins the fallowing week.
Additional farmers' markets will open in June,

including the weekday downtown St. Paul market along the Seventh Place Mall, which is scheduled to start
June 14.
The winter market at the Lowertown location — outside along Wall Street and inside Golden's Deli across
the street — continues Saturdays through April 23 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
