JUN 1 8 2014 STATE OF MINNESOTA OFFICE OF ADMINISTRATIVE HEARINGS MUNICIPAL BOUNDARY ADJUSTMENT UNIT In the Matter of D-515 Maplewood/ A-7862 North St.Paul Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 414 NOTICE OF RECONVENED HEARING The evidentiary hearing concerning this Petition will be held on June 30. 2014,beginning at 9:30 a.m,and will continue thereafter each day, through Jufy 3, 2014, as necessary in the Council Chambers at the Maplewood City Hall, 1830 County Road B E, Maplewood, Minnesota 55109 before Administrative Law Judge Barbara Neilson. This is a continuation of the first hearing in this matter held on November 21, 2013. The only formal parties to this proceeding to date are the Petitioners, the City of North St. Paul, and the City of Maplewood. The Petitioners have petitioned the State for authority to concurrently detach and annex certain land from the City of Maplewood to the City of North St,Paul. The hearing will be conducted pursuant to the procedure set out in Minnesota Rules, Chapter 6000 as supplemented by Minnesota Rules 14.57 - 14.62, The Rules of the Municipal Boundary Adjustment Unit, Office of Administrative Hearings can be viewed at www.revisor.mn.gov/rules/?id=6000. The property proposed for detachment from the City of Maplewood and concurrent annexation to the City of North St. Paul is described as follows: 2587 Lydia Ave E., Maplewood (David and Laurie Johnson): That part of the East 620 feet of the Northwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 1, Township 29, Range 22, described as follows: Beginning on the North line of Lydia Avenue distant 185 feet East of the West line of said East 620 feet;thence East on the North line of Lydia Avenue a distance of 85 feet; thence Northeasterly a distance of 150 feet to a point 310 feet East of the West line of said East 620 feet; thence West and parallel with the South line of point 185 feet East of the West line of said East 620 feet; thence South 145 feet to the point of beginning.
