PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
Whet is Being Requested?
As part of the City of Maplewood's
delegation agreement with the
Minnesota Department of Health,the
City is required to have ordinances
which regulate minimum design,
installation, construction, operation
and maintenance requirements for
all food and lodging establishments
and public pools. The City's
ordinances must reference State
health rules.The City is proposing to
update its Business and Licensing
ordinance at Chapter 14(Sections
14317 and 14-521)and Buildings
and Building Regulation ordinance at
Chapter 12 (Section 12-532) to
reference and incorporate State
health rules.
Public Healing Information
The Maplewood City Council will
hold a public hearing to review the
first reading of the proposed
ordinance revisions on Monday,April
28,2014,at 7:00 p.m.or later in the
Maplewood City Council chambers
located at 1830 County Road B East.
All interested parties may present
their views orally or in writing.Sign
language interpreters are available.
You must request this service at
least 96 hours in advance.Call the

Why This Notice?
The Maplewood city code requires
that the city council hold a public o,
hearing when considering ordinance
revisions.
