The award-winning Hill -Murray Theatre presents an all-new sizzling production of "Guys & Dolls"
opening April 15, playing two weekends through Sunday, April 24. With its unforgettable songs and a
cast of gamblers, gals and gangsters, "Guys and Dolls" is musical entertainment you can bet on!
""Guys & Dolls" is considered to be a perfect musical, and our students are the perfect cast to bring this
colorful show to life. Our audiences will be thrilled with this production. I know I am," said director Ben
Ballentine.
The production team also includes Tyler Morris as the technical director, Therese Walth as the vocal
director, Suzanna Schneider as the costume designer and Tony Vierling as the choreographer.
"Guys and Dolls" is a celebrated musical comedy about rolling the dice and falling in love under the
bright lights of Broadway. Gambler Nathan sets up the biggest craps game in town while the authorities
breathe down his neck; meanwhile, his girlfriend, Adelaide, laments that they've been engaged for 14
years. Nathan turns to fellow gambler Sky for help, but Sky ends up chasing the straight-laced
missionary Sarah Brown... Featuring an iconic score that includes such songs as "Luck Be A Lady," "Sit
Down You're Rocking the Boat," "If I Were a Bell," and "A Bushel and a Peck," "Guys and Dolls" is the
ultimate crowd pleaser and a treat for audiences and performers of any age.
Tickets for "Guys and Dolls" are $5 to $15. Performances are on Fridays and Saturdays areat 7 p.m.,
and matinees Sundays are at 2 p.m. An American Sign Language interpreted performance is Sunday,
April 17, at 2 p.m. There will be a free senior citizen preview Thursday, April 14, at 7 p.m. For tickets
