Police seek help identifying female suspect The Maplewood Police Department is seeking community help in identifying a woman involved in a bank robbery Saturday, April 2, at the TCF Bank branch inside Cub Foods, 100 W. County Road B. Witnesses described the woman as 20- to 25 -year-old European American with dark hair that may have had highlights. At the time of the robbery she wore a gray hooded sweatshirt and dark leggings. At around 3 p.m., the woman presented a TCF Bank teller a note demanding money while implying she had a gun. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, she fled the store in an unknown direction and was not immediately located. Based on witnesses' descriptions of the holdup, investigators are attempting to determine if the Maplewood suspect is the same woman who committed a bank robbery in Minneapolis on March 23. http://www.bulIetin-news.com/articles/2016/04/05/maplewood-branch-bank-robbed 1/2 Maplewood branch bank robbed I Lillie Suburban Newspapers According to media reports, the March 23 incident in Minneapolis also involved a white female in her 20s. The woman committing that robbery had blond hair and wore a black hooded sweatshirt and black leggings. She implied she had a gun and demanded money from a teller at Firefly Credit Union, 2535 27th Ave. S. Anyone with information as to the identity and/or whereabouts of the Maplewood TCF bank robber is asked to call the Maplewood Police Department at 651-767-0640.
