Maplewood Police Find Missing 4 -Year -Old Boy Safe

The Maplewood Police Department say they have found a missing
4 -year-old boy believed to be with his non-custodial father.
The boy was found safe. The boy has been returned to his
custodial mother, Maplewood police chief Paul Schnell said.
The department received a call Saturday from the mother of
Daniel Marcel Sheppard, Jr., to say that his father, 38 -year-old
Daniel Marcel Sheppard, had not returned him as was expected.
According to the mother, Sheppard had picked up his son at
about 1:30 p.m. Saturday and was supposed to bring him to a
friend's house but neither showed up to that location.
