St. Paul: One rescued from burning car

A man was rescued from a burning car in St. Paul Friday night.
According to Maplewood Police Captain Dave Kvam, officers happened upon a car that had flipped over
and burst into flames on the St. Paul side of Larpenteur and White Bear avenues around 11:50 p.m.
Screams could be heard coming from the vehicle.
One man was extracted from the vehicle and taken to Regions Hospital with "considerable injuries,"
Kvam said. The man's identity has not yet been released.
Kvam said the cause of the accident is under investigation.
A native of Knife River, Minn., Will graduated from Marquette University and the University of St. Thomas. He worked at the Duluth News Tribune
before moving to the Twin Cities in 2008. Will lives in the Longfellow neighborhood of Minneapolis and enjoys reading, cooking, yoga and gardening.
He does not own a dog yet, but has several lists of names ready to go for when he does.
