Maplewood police are looking for a suspect in a weekend bank robbery and trying to determine
whether the woman is responsible for another bank holdup last month in Minneapolis.
In Saturday's robbery, police said the woman robbed the TCF Bank branch inside the Cub Foods at
100 W. County Road B in Maplewood.
Police said she gave a teller a note demanding cash and implied that she was armed. After receiving
an undisclosed amount of money, she fled the store shortly after 3 p.m.
The woman was described as white, 20 to 25 years old, with dark hair that might have highlights. She
was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and dark leggings.
Based on the general similarity of suspect descriptions, police say the woman might be responsible
for a March 23 bank robbery in Minneapolis.
