The Maplewood Police Department is conducting the third annual Community Safety Survey to collect important feedback
about crime, traffic, and quality -of -life issues (such as noise, loud vehicles, unkempt properties, etc).
Survey respondents remain completely anonymous. Survey data will be used to assist the Police Department in identifying
strategic policing priorities for 2016. The information is also useful in determining community perception about the source and
severity of crime and quality -of -life problems.
The survey will be accessible through Nov. 28, at which time survey results will be analyzed. Any information received that
pertains to other City departments will be provided to the appropriate staff. Once analyzed, the data will be published on the
City website (Police Department page).
The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete. The survey is designed so thatthose completing it can respond as either a
resident of Maplewood or as a person whose workplace is in Maplewood.
If you have specific questions, comments, or concerns, please contact Police Chief Paul Schnell at 651-249-2600
