NOTICE OF HEARING OF IMPROVEMENT
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Notice is hereby given that the Maplewood City Council will meet in the council chambers of the City Hall to
consider the making of the improvement hereinafter described:
Proposed City Project No. 15-16
Bellaire Avenue Improvements
DATE: October 12, 2015

Maplewood, Minnesota 55109
The general nature of the proposed improvements include a full depth reclaim and new pavement, spot curb
replacement, spot utility repairs, rain gardens, and boulevard restoration as needed. The properties in the
general area proposed to be assessed for improvement are as follows: Those properties generally abutting
Bellaire Avenue (Helen) from Beam Avenue to Lydia Avenue.THE TOTAL ESTIMATED COST OF SAID
JOINT IMPROVEMENT PROJECT IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE CITY OF NORTH ST. PAUL IS
$5,271,100, OF WHICH MAPLEWOOD'S TOTAL ESTIMATED SHARE IS $93,250.
Pursuant to Minn. Stat. 429.011 to 429.111, it is proposed to assess every lot, piece or parcel of land benefited
by said improvement whether abutting thereon or not, based upon benefits received without regard to cash
valuation.
A reasonable estimate of the impact of the assessment will be available at the hearing. Persons desiring to be
heard with reference to the proposed improvement should be present at this hearing.
