Veterans remembered. Twenty-seven veterans living at the Ramsey County Care Center were honored at a special
ceremony May 21, receiving pins and plaques for their service and dedication to the country. AseraCare of Bloomington
pinned tokens the veterans as staff, residents, the ROTC, proud family members and local dignitaries looked on. Of the 2.4
million deaths each year in the U.S, approximately 680,000 are veterans.
Veterans were invited to recounttheir experiences in uniform at a reception following the ceremony. (Linda Baumeister
