Halloween Hoedown

Friday,Oct.16 from 6 to 9 p.m.,the
Maplewood Area Historical Society will
be hosting the 16th Annual Halloween
Hoedown.
It's a kid-friendly event for the whole
family with activities,prizes and enter-
tainment for everyone. Costumes are
encouraged because there's a costume
contest.
The Halloween Hoedown will be
located at the Maplewood Community
Center,2100 White Bear Avenue,Maple-
wood.This event is a fundraiser for the
non-profit Maplewood Area Historical
Society.Admission is$4 and kids under 3
can participate for free.Events include a
spooky room haunted tour,DJ entertain-
ment by PJ the DJ,hot dogs and Hallow-
een treats,games and contests,pumpkin
painting,fun crafts,balloon sculpting,
hair and face painting,and more.
