Suspect in Maplewood Homicide Briefly Escapes in Freeborn
County

A man charged with killing his wife in Maplewood briefly escaped
custody in Freeborn County Wednesday morning while being
trensported,the Freeborn County Sheriff said.
The escape was reported to the Freeborn County Sheriff's Office
about 4:38 a.m.Sheriff's officials say Todd Larry Tennin broke a
rear window from the van and escaped north of Albert Lea in
southern Minnesota.The van was on Interstate 90 on its way to � �� -
St.Paul.
The sheriff's office and Albert Lea Police'Department started a �` r'�����
search and found Tennin north of Albert Lea near I-90 and �
Minnesota Highway 13. �
Tennin was taken to Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Albert Lea '�'� �
and was treated For minor injuries. ,

shooting death of his wife,41-year-old April Tennin.
She was found dead Aug.23,and uolice searched several davs for Tennin.
