Maplewood Man to Be Sentenced in Toddler's Death
The boyfriend of a mother of a toddler who died while in his care in Maplewood in 2015 will be sentenced
today. Leb Meak pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in Ramsey County. Police responded to a
call of a toddler who was not breathing on Feb. 12, 2015. Meak led officers to a downstairs bedroom where
they found the baby not moving or breathing. Investigators later found bruises on the toddler's chest,
stomach, and face.
