Interim Archbishop Bernard Hebda made the announcement Tuesday about the Rev. Mark Huberty.A Ramsey County jury acquitted Huberty of criminal sexual conduM ' involving an adult female parishioner he was counseling. , Since Huberty's acquittal,his case was reviewed by a new ministerial review board.The board found sufficient evidence to suggest Huberty may have committed a serious I offense under canon]aw and recommended proceedings to resolve the allegations. During the process,Huberty is not pertnitted to wear a Roman collar or present himself � as a priest. I Nevada attorney Robert Flummerfelt,a canon lawyer representing Huberty,expeds Huber[y will receive a fair hearing and the matter will be properly resolved.
