HomeMy WebLinkAbout2015 08-24 Husband sought in killing of Maplewood woman PIONEER PRESS 4/2015 Husband sought in killing of Maplewood woman-TwinCities.com Husband sought in killing of Maplewood woman Updated:08/24/2015 07:05:19 AM CDT TwinCities.com � themecircle.net Investigators were searching Sunday night for the husband of a 41-year-old Maplewood woman shot and killed early that morning. , Police Chief Paul Schnell said the husband,whom he did not name, is a"person of interesY'in April Marie Tennin's slaying. The man was arguing with his wife right before the shooting,Schnell said Sunday night. On Sunday, police found the man's vehicle in a north metro city but when they searched the home where the vehicle was found,they did not find him, Schnell said. Investigators think the husband fled in a different vehicle. According to police,first responders were called to a home on the 1700 block of Woodland Lane shortly after 6 a.m.,where they discovered Tennin with an apparent gunshot wound.She was pronounced dead at the scene. Three children,ages 12, 15 and 16,were also at the home when police arrived.Their relationships to the victim or the person of interest were not disclosed. i The home where the shooting occurred is near Hill-Murray School, Priory nature preserve and St.Paul's Monastery.
