"Farm -to -the -Table" Day Camp at the
Bruentrup Heritage Farm was held on July
28. Day campers enjoyed many activities
including a game of townball, the
predecessor to modern baseball. T.J.
Malaskee of the historical site Oliver
Hudson Kelley Grange introduced kids to
townball. They also enjoyed a curriculum
highlighting local food, farming, and old-
time games. Ice cream and butter were
made during Dairy Days and Agriculture
Day was dedicated to farming education.
