1.CALL TO ORDER
A meeting of the Heritage PreservationCommission was held in the City Hall Council
Chambers and called to order byChair Boulayat7:00p.m.

3.APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA
Commissioner Currie moved agenda item 5a to agenda item 6a and added agenda item
6b. 2009 Survey Results
Natural Resources Coordinator, Ginny Gaynor, added the following agenda items:

Agenda Item 10d. Commissioner Opening
Agenda Item 10e. National Main Streets Conference
Commissioner Gilbertsonmoved to approve the agenda as amended.

5.NEW BUSINESS
a.2014 Demolition report
Natural Resource Coordinator, Ginny Gaynor, provided an update on the 2014
Demolition report. This report contains all of the buildings that were demolished
in the City of Maplewoodin 2014.
Commissioner Gaspar moved to approve the 2014 Demolition Report.
Seconded by Commissioner Currie
The motion passed.
b.2014 Goals Status
Natural Resource Coordinator, Ginny Gaynor, discussed the 2014 Goals Status
and answered questions of the commission.
Commissioner Curriemoved to the 2014 goals status.
Seconded by Commissioner Rudberg
The motion passed.
c.2014 Draft Annual Report
Natural Resource Coordinator, Ginny Gaynor, reviewed the 2014 Draft Annual
Report with the commission.
Commissioner Creager moved to approve the 2014 Draft Annual Reportwith
changes noted.
Seconded by Commissioner Currie
The motion passed.
d.2015 Goals
Natural Resource Coordinator, Ginny Gaynor, discussed the 2015 Goals with the
commission.
6.OLD BUSINESS
a.Review Rolesand Procedures
Natural Resources Coordinator, Ginny Gaynor, presented information regarding
commissioner roles and procedures.

Commissioners and staff updated the commission on the upcoming MAHS activitiesand
events.

a.Making History Relevant (Rudberg)
Commissioner Rudberg presented information regarding Making History
Relevantfrom a conference she attended in St. Paul.
b.History Mystery (Chair Boulay)
Chair Boulay tabled the History Mystery until the March 12, 2015 HPC Meeting.
