APPROVAL OF AGENDA Nemitz moved to approve the Agenda, Glover seconded, Ayes, All. 4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Glover moved to approve the minutes as corrected: item 7C- delete therefore, and in 3rd sentence starting with "and' and ending with on • Motion should n his read- Nemitz moved that Mr. Davis' status be detened q lifisd for �1100 income elidgeability. EMERGENCY HOUSING altho we did have one apply for emergency fuel, Cliff Mottaz is handling it, for the home at 2675 Stillwater Rd. She was given 75 gallons of fuel oil J. SENIOR BUILDING Inc. Three A memorandum was given to us in regards to Concordia Arms, variances are requested. In view of the fact that HUD is the only source of funding available for subsidized Elderly Housing, and they have requirements which must ter oft and limitations which cannot be exceeded (i.e. co s t w ter uni square feet per unit, etc ), the following Nemitz moved to accept variance one, are not setting a preced,ence Elderly, and not Family, and that we e future one bedroom housing. We feel that the need for Elderly housing outweighs our desire for a larger square foot area. Juker seconded, Ayes, all. Nemitz moved to accept variance 2 with the same rationale as in variance 1. Glover seconded, Ayes, all. Nemitz moved acceptance of variance 3 with the same rational as in the previous variances. Fischer seconded, Ayes, all. • K. DISCUSSION OF HOUSING ELEMENT OF LAND USE PLAN This has been tabled until next meeting if this book still exsists. 8. NEW BUSINESS None 9. COMMISSION PRESENTATIONS Eric wanted to know what Frans' plans were for the H.R.A. Fran said she would continue, unless it became too much for her, but is giving up the Secretarial duties. This will be decided upon at the next meeting. 10. DATE OF NEXT MEETING January 8,: 1980 11, ADJOURNMENT 10;15 p.m. 12. COMMENTS goodies were enjoyed by all. Best of luck to Eric's Dad, The refreshment and go and also to Maria's Mom. who does not take shorthand, and all the grief I have had to take As Secretary, I'm not really grief - stricken about giving that up, but I have to say about that, and all those corrections in about l minutes, and I have enjoyed it- (some of the tame - especially when Bill took minutes, and goofed ). I have truly just a time for enjoyed working with all of you, it doesn't seem like a meeting, • some good friends getting together. I had to get my 2 cents in, cause I won't be writing the comments anymore. Respectfully submitted by Fran Juker- Out -going Secretary MEMORANDUM • TO: City Maiager FROM: Director of Community Development SUBJECT: HRA Membership DATE: April 15, 1980 In August of 1979, Maria Larsen was appointed to the HRA to serve the remainder of Dwight Jessup's appointment, ending March, 1930. At this time, Maria is requesting appointment to a full five year term with the HRA as a representative of the City's Human Relations Commission. The HRA supports Maria's request for membership.
