Councilmemeber Monahan - Jenuek moved to approve the agenda as presented.
Seconded by Councilmember Koppen Ayes -All
NEW BUSINESS
6:00 p.m. Larry Litecky, President Century College
Larry Litecky, President Century College, shared the visions and goals of Century College and
requested that the Council support the 2005 bonding bill that the College is hoping passes for
needed improvements.
2. 6:20 p.m. Representative Nora Slawik and Senator Chuck Wiger
Senator Wiger discussed bills that will be in the 2005 session and highlights of the 2004
session. He informed council that he will vigorously support the homestead credit during the
2005 session. Representative Nora Slawik discussed highlights of the Education Committee
she is on. She also discussed transportation issues that affect the city.
6:42 p.m. Council took a five - minute break.
3. 6:50 p.m. Interview with Eric Ahlness
Councilmember Koppen moved to appoint Mr. Ahlness to the Planning Commission with a
City Council/Manager Workshop 09 -27 -04
term expiring December of 2006.
Seconded by Councilmember Monahan -Junek Ayes-All
